O Holy Night

One of my favorite Christmas hymns is "Oh Holy Night." My favorite lines focus on the Christ's mission and how—through faith—we can come to know Him as our friend: 

Lead by the light of Faith serenely beaming,
with glowing hearts by His cradle we stand.
The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger; 
in all our trials born to be our friend. 
    —O Holy Night

I testify that Jesus Christ truly was born to be our friend. He knows me perfectly, and He knows you. We can seek him diligently, because those "that diligently seek shall find; and the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto them, by the power of the Holy Ghost" (1 Nephi 10:19).
